About Mr. Edgar
The
child of a career Army officer, Jamie lived on 5 continents and
throughout the U.S. before settling in Indianapolis.
He graduated from
DePauw
University with honors in
1989. He earned a law
degree from IU in 1995 and worked his way through law school as a
bailiff in the Marion County Courts.
He graduated in the top 35% of his class with Dean’s List and Top
Paper honors.
He
later worked for the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office handling
homicide, robbery and drug dealing cases.
He established his private law practice in 2000 and owns the
building which houses his office in the historic Old Northside. Prior to
his legal career, Jamie was a real estate agent.
He studied at the Universidad de
los Andes in South America
where he became fluent in Spanish.
He is involved in latino community activities.
